Welcome to the 2023 Fall MPL soccer development program! We are excited to kick off the season and have a couple of updates to share. We will only offer 2 time slots this fall with the class times at 12:00pm (2-4 yr olds) and 1:00pm (5-8 yr olds). For week 2 through week 3 we are offering "bring a friend" to check out the program as we generally add players over the first few weeks of classes and are open to new players joining in.
Please bring water, a soccer ball and wear comfortable clothing. MPL shirts will be given out in week 3 as we always add players over the 1st couple weeks and this allows one order to take care of the group. Registration remains OPEN so new players can show up Saturday morning and we can add them to the roster.
Week 1 is always and intro session to see how the players fit so we can group them appropriately for the remainder of the program. The focus of these classes is to develop the players socially, build basic skills and understanding and to have FUN so all participants gain an interest in the great game of soccer.
Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and prepare for the class and see below details for your player:
- bring a ball
- wear comfortable clothes and shoes (or cleats if you choose)
- bring water or sports drink
- wear sunscreen if needed
For our 2-4 year old class we encourage parents/guardians to stay as close as needed to make your player feel comfortable and to assist in their participation. As the fall progresses each player will get more and more comfortable and make friends along the way.
